We are inviting applications for the role of a Management Trainees, Tax Accountant

Interest in tax regulations and laws. Excellent time management skills are also essential, as you’ll have to ensure our company meets tight deadlines. Tax Accountant responsibilities also include organizing and maintaining records of tax payments.

Responsibilities

In this role, you shall be responsible for all the activities related to tax.

  • Prepare tax payments
  • Estimate and track tax returns
  • Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
  • Organize and update the company’s tax database
  • Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
  • Perform Tax Reconciliations
  • Journal entries and other Closing activities relevant for tax
  • Share financial data with the accounting department
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Forecast tax predictions to managers

Skills We See In You

  • Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Familiarity with accounting software packages
  • Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Keen attention to detail

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • MBA Finance (With B.Com in Graduation)

Preferred Qualifications

  • CA Inter degree & relevant work experience in General Ledger
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS excel
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions
  • Excellent SME knowledge of accounting concepts
