Lead Software Developer / Senior Consultant – Tax Transformation – Deloitte US-India Offices (USI)

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines have obtained support through Deloitte Tax in India. U.S. India Tax — TTO:

Deloitte Tax LLP’s Tax Transformation (TTO) team is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of tax tools for the US Tax Practice.  The professionals on the TTO team are focused on assisting Deloitte Tax in its efforts to deliver quality, comprehensive, value-added, and efficient client services using tax tools to our clients.  The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving tax technology management, tool development and implementation.   

Responsibilities and Duties

Below Are The Primary Responsibilities.

  • Designing and developing new software applications.
  • Maintaining and updating existing software systems.
  • Production Support which includes fixing the issues and responding to the users in time.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software solutions and providing technical support to users.
  • Investigating and creating POC’s for the new integrations / enhancements.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Technical Skills

  • Backend Technologies -> C#, ASP.NET, ASP.Net Core, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework and Micro Services .
  • Frontend Technologies -> HTML, CSS, JQuery , and JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or Angular .
  • Knowledge of database development and administration using SQL Server , including designing and implementing database structures, writing queries, and optimizing performance.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like Microsoft Azure , including monitoring and scaling applications.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum , and experience working in a team environment using source control systems like Git, TFS .
  • Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting techniques, and experience in writing Unit Test Cases .
  • Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures to protect applications and data.

Qualifications

  • Full time M asters /Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent from reputed University
  • At least 6-9 years of relevant technical experience with application development and .Net programming.
  • Excellent SQL programming skills
  • Should have strong understanding of both the (SQL database) back-end as well as the front-end application development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skill for writing reusable libraries.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
