About this role

Job Description

Responsible for determination and deployment of robust, stable, and manageable computing and network services. Manage technical projects. Determine site computing and network server strategy . Research new technology/products/tools. Monitor and perform capacity/feasibility studies and resolve network capacity issues. Identify, develop, and deploy tools supporting network server services. Perform impact analysis of new technologies on environment. Analyze and troubleshoot complex and advanced problems. Plans and schedules work to meet deadlines established by others to ensure the completion of several related tasks. Uses judgement in data analysis to develop and design solutions for moderately complex processes. Responsible for the design and implementation of next generation of Wide Area Network products and solutions integrated with Operational process and Network Automation standards.

Qualifications

Candidates applying for this position should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with minimum of 5 years' experience in the area of network operations or network engineering - WAN monitoring, troubleshooting and support, WAN Design Candidate should have: Strong knowledge that includes Cisco router and switch configuration and troubleshooting, and other types of network hardware In-depth knowledge and experience with TCP and/or IP, Remote Access (VPN, SSL, etc..) and understanding of network technologies Should have excellent knowledge of various Wide Area Network connectivity technologies - MPLS, Point-to-Point, ISP Should have excellent knowledge of various Routing Protocols - EIGRP, BGP, RIP, OSPF Good analytical, troubleshooting and exceptional problem-solving skills Should have experience in designing new network solutions preferably WAN solutions integrated with Operational process. Should have experience in Network Automation through Python or Ansible or any other scripting language Team player with strong communications skills and proven interpersonal skills Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently CCNA certification is mandatory - CCNP is preferred. Familiarity with Agile and ITIL Processes is a strong plus Working knowledge on SDWAN is an added advantage

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
