Location - Pune

Role Description

Senior Data Analyst (Engineer) within Records Management product family, to take on the responsibility of analyzing data from different systems/ data sources, providing deep insights and turn raw data into useful information in response to business data problems. With Records Management being a key risk for the bank, the role is expected to focus on requirements of the business and proposes the technical design of the application or its components, investigates and proposes appropriate technologies to be used, creates re-usable frameworks and drives standardisation where possible in line with banks standard and solutions.

Your key responsibilities

Deep analysis of the data acquired using specialized tools and automated technologies from different systems and data sources.

• Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

• Responding to data-related queries and keeping track of these.

• Work with Product Manager and Engineers to prioritize business and information needs and

devise data governance strategies.

• Produce relevant artefacts including architecture blueprints, decision logs and technical

solution documents

• Leading the adoption of Agile principles across the team and working with the wider team to

manage key issues and stakeholders

Your skills and experience

Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant

amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc),

databases (Hive, Hadoop etc.), programming (Java, Python: Libraries like pandas, numpy, and

scikit-learn, R for statistical analysis and data visualization or ETL frameworks)

• Knowledge of Reporting tool like Tableau etc.

• Hands on programming language like Java is good to have

• Extensive Knowledge of basic networking components and concepts

• Knowledge & working experience in Scaled Agile framework.

Non-Technical

• Critical Thinking, Attention to detail with good analytical skills.

• Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members.

• Proven ability to foster collaborative working relationships with senior colleagues across the

firm.

• Proficient communication skills.

• Fluent in English (written/verbal).

• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrixed organizations
