Summary: As a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring the performance, security, and availability of databases. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery. - Develop and implement database security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Monitor database performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and scalability. - Provide technical guidance and support to application developers, assisting with database design, optimization, and troubleshooting. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. - Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and optimization. - Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery. - Solid grasp of database performance tuning and capacity planning. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful database solutions. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
