You will be working as Test Lead PLUTO and will be part of Robotics and Discrete Automation Business Area for BA Function Technology Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R and D Team Lead and will be responsible for writing and performing system tests execution to secure the product quality before validation testing commences. Analyzing of product requirements, creating and executing testcases, reporting bugs, creating system test reports, test automation and test documentation.
Your responsibilities
- Providing test leadership to the project, devise long term system test strategy. Analyzing system feature requirements and map them to correct test cases
- Writing test plans, test cases, and executing the test cases based on the Product requirements, specification, technical requirements specification, behavior and usage of the products
- Detailing NFR's for the product and carrying out NFR testing. Innovating and creating test strategies during Innovation sprints, increase automation, test coverage
- Configuring necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing. Assisting the development team which develops the API’s with fixing the bugs, the code is in C++
- Migrating all testing to Cloud and maximizing virtualized testing. Incorporating Dev Ops so that overnight testing can be done. Ensuring better quality with multiple rounds of testing for regression
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (Electrical/ Electronics/Computer science) or master’s degree in Industrial automation or Robotics from a reputed university
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in SW testing along with managing and creating test environment on Azure Cloud
- Adaptability, familiarity, and exposure to QMS / TQM
- Experience on RESTAPI testing for Embedded system web interfaces along with converting manual test backlog to automated scripts using C#
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism
