About this role

Minimum qualifications:

4 years of experience as a developer, software developer engineer in test (SDET), or automation engineer.
Experience with testing principles, CI/CD principles, and kubernetes platform.
Experience with Go/Python.

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of networking fundamentals with understanding of Google Cloud Platform/public cloud platform.
Practical knowledge of Anthos.

Responsibilities

Test Google Cloud based platform from a functional as well as a scale perspective.
Own and develop Automation framework for current and future cloud platform products.
Automate test cases that can be executed in a CI/CD environment from build all the way to the canary based deployment.
Work closely with the engineering development teams, product management teams and Engprod (tools) teams to make sure the required libraries and framework is ready for automating the test cases that are lined up for daily and weekly builds.
Work with the Platform Deployment team to drive best practices. Develop platform public cloud platform skills (Kubernetes) for triaging and debugging issues.
