About this role
Job Description- Analyze, design, program, optimize and benchmark SW & HW performance of Wireless 5G products.
- SW test content development and automation engineer responsible for producing high quality SW for Wireless infrastructure customer enablement.
- Integrates, validates, and debugs software across the stack for a specific product, platform, feature, or technology.
- Designs and develops a software validation environment, the integration, and the enabling of the software stack.
- Responsible for the creation of validation plans, automation, associated methodologies, and triage and debugging of failures.
- Writes validation standards and procedures, analyzes the results to ensure correct functionality, triages failures, and recommends or develops corrective action.
- Assesses the state of the art and employs new methods to improve quality, automation, and product release efficiency.
Qualifications:
Must Have
- Strong foundation in SW test content development in C, C++, scripting languages in embedded platforms
- Automation tools and framework development in Linux and cloud platforms.
- Networking stack experience - communication protocols such as TCP, IPv4, IPv6, IPsec, Ethernet, routing, switching, NIC
- Traffic generator/analyzers such as TRex, or IXIA, WireShark
- Sample code development for internal and external customers
- Experience with L1 and L2 wireless access technology, OS kernel, VM, container and device drivers.
- Experience in wireless and RAN architecture, and good understanding of 5G RAN.
- Experience in DFE/JESD is a plus.
