About this role

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience in Data Analysis, Data Warehousing, C++, SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

5 years of experience in backend data infrastructure and data analysis.
5 years of experience in systems and distributed systems.
Experience with Google data infrastructures such as Flume, Lavaflow, Riveter, Conduit, NAPA, Placer, SQL, Plx, Qubos, RVL, Procella.
Experience with performance, efficiency or testing.

Responsibilities

Be a technical lead for engineers in Bangalore in design, coding, and design and code reviews.
Mentor, set expectations and coach, career development, and performance management. Manage and lead the team with engineering and product excellence.
Manage project collaborations across multiple sites, Zurich, Sunnyvale, Beijing and Bangalore.
Report project progress, and communicate design and architecture options and decisions across sites, especially with the Sunnyvale team. Suggest new or change existing processes to improve cross-site collaborations.
