Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesResponsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Commercial Vehicle Frame Design and Development for SCV platform
- Deliver Frame & mounting aggregates as per QCDW (Quality, cost, delivery, weight) for SCV projects
- Interaction with CAE, CDMM, validation, plant team, homologation for aggregate development
- Active participation for Resolution of Field, manufacturing, service & quality concerns.
- Analyse pros and cons of different designs taken into consideration performance, cost, packaging.
- Side member section calculations and stiffness evaluation
- Ensure error free EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM
- Participate in vehicle benchmarking and strip down activities for weight and cost analysis.

General Requirements
- Good Hands-on experience in CAD Modelling using CATIA V5, GD&T / Drafting of sheet metal & Casting components.
- Innovative thinking and Ability to generate Multiple CAD Design concept for frame ladder & mtg aggregates.
- Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application
- Knowledge of New Product Development system like MPDS, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, QC Tools & GD&T – Stack up Analysis
- Knowledge of product complexity/modularity management
- Knowledge of Metallurgy, manufacturing Processes, welding / bolted joints for Sheet Metal components.
