Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of experience in product design or UX.
5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams.
3 years of experience working with executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in UX needs and challenges in the enterprise software.
Ability to influence without authority across organizations, technical challenges, product/business challenges.
Excellent UX design and research skills across a diverse set of software products and user personas.
Excellent analytics, quantitative research, instrumentation, user journey mapping, and measurement skills.

As part of Core Infrastructure of GCP, Storage UX team helps customers store, manage, and move data securely by keeping user centricity at the core of what we do.

Google’s UX leaders help define and drive the future of Google design. The team provides cross-functional collaborations where designers, engineers, writers, researchers, and product managers work to solve challenging problems together and deliver excellent user experience across multiple products and interfaces we build.

Responsibilities

Identify new product opportunities, articulate product ideas, and fulfill Storage OKRs.
Build and manage the team across multiple locations, building Research, Design, Prototyping, and UX Writing.
Execute research insights to inform strategy and direction of the product roadmap and portfolio, as well as specific designs and measurements.
Build relationships with Program Managers and Engineering partners, work cross-functionally to develop a user-centered product idea, and align on next steps.
Maintain a culture of respect and sense of belonging within the team.
