You will be working as Senior Project Engineer and will be part of Process Automation business area for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing authority for an engineering discipline with medium complexity. Completing assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
Your responsibilities
- Contributing using in-depth knowledge in the digital projects to execute complex or specialized projects, often thinking independently to challenge traditional solutions. Designing and conducting experiments to work on analysis and interpretation of data
- Serving as specialist in application of advanced concepts and methods. Developing solutions and organizing, planning, creating & delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations
- Ensuring solutions stated in the statement of work are best practice and in line with client requirements. Working closely with Sales to ensure successful closure of the sales process
- Assists in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs along with engineering risk analysis before submitting the proposal. Supporting project managers in realizing change requests
- Providing cost effective quality solutions as per customer requirement and delivers within the budget and contract. Improving effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions
- Reporting any contract, quality, program or cost issues to the management along with recommendations for resolution. Interacting regularly with customers, officials, contractors and other stake holders to sort out any type of issues and maintain the healthy connect
- Attending project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments. Collaborating with the supply chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed to with potential suppliers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience as full-stack developer with the experience of E2E development activities like interacting with customers, designing, developing the product and deploying at customer site
- Hands on experience in Asp.Net, web API & MVC, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular JS, jQuery, AJAX, MS SQL Server
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism
- Willing to travel domestically (up to 50%)
