We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to join our team. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in facilitating the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Agile principles, and a proven track record of successfully guiding teams towards successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Guide and coach the development teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
- Facilitate all Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to understand project requirements, manage the product backlog, and ensure alignment with business goals
- Remove any impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team's progress or productivity
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement, helping the team identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and quality
- Track and report on team progress, velocity, and other relevant metrics to ensure transparency and visibility to stakeholders
- Promote a culture of collaboration, self-organization, and accountability within the team
- Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices, while tailoring them to fit the specific needs and constraints of the organization
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development
Minimum Qualifications
- BE/B Tech/MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certifications
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, guiding teams in the successful adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and artifacts
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards high performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience with Agile project management tools and software
- Prior experience of working in Banking and Financial Services domain
- Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban) is a plus
