Minimum qualifications:

6 years of experience in Network Infrastructure Devices, Network Operations, IP Backbone, Routing Protocols, IPv4, Monitoring Systems, TCP/IP, IPv6.
6 years of experience in Network Configuration, Network Infrastructure, Software Development, Automated Testing, Network Test Automation, Test Automation Framework, Test Design, Test Frameworks, or Test Planning.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Go programming language.
Experience with configuring network routers and switches.
Experience with troubleshooting network devices.
Knowledge of Basic Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols.
Understanding of network device control plane and management plane.
Familiarity with one or more network device operating systems.

You have hands-on experience with complex networking equipment, a deep understanding of networking protocols, test design and implementation chops and a background in IP network design. It's your job to make sure Google's cutting-edge technology can perform at scale.

Responsibilities

Develop wide area routed network testing solutions for hyper scale global network, spanning multiple locations and service providers.
Implement test automation involving multiple devices under test and traffic generators.
Configure lab devices, run automation tests, and troubleshoot test failures.
Troubleshoot network device configuration and connectivity issues.
Roll out software updates in the production network.
