Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager- Cloud Infrastructure Code Manager

The Infrastructure Code Manager will lead a team of skilled engineers in designing, implementing, and managing automated infrastructure solutions using best practices and cutting-edge tools. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies, expertise in infrastructure automation, and a strategic mindset for driving efficiency and scalability through code. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Infrastructure as Code engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure solutions for cloud environments.
Collaborate with cloud architects and DevOps teams to define infrastructure requirements and develop strategic plans for implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions.
Oversee the development of reusable modules, templates, and scripts to standardize infrastructure deployments and ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
Drive the integration of IaC practices with CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of infrastructure changes, ensuring rapid and reliable software delivery.
Establish and enforce best practices for infrastructure code development, version control, testing, and documentation.
Work closely with security and compliance teams to implement and enforce security controls, governance policies, and regulatory compliance requirements for cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to optimize cloud resource usage, manage costs, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
Provide leadership and guidance in troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues, leveraging automation tools and monitoring systems to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to Infrastructure such as Code and cloud operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the Cloud Operations team, promoting knowledge sharing, skill development, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications/skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Relevant years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and leading teams of engineers in designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
Expertise in one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and proficiency in cloud services such as computing, storage, networking, and security.
Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools and frameworks, such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Strong knowledge of software development practices, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is advantageous.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and drive effective solutions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are highly desirable.
