About this role

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in SAP Implementations, including Master Data Governance (MDG) on S/4 HANA.
Experience in SAP ABAP.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience integrating custom built solutions with vendor product offerings, and integration with supply chain applications.
Experience in implementing the latest technologies with business solutions and industry 4.0 practices.
Experience in cloud technologies and microservice/API based designs and integrations.
Understanding of the SAP ABAP coding best practices, S/4 and MDG technicals including architecture, data models enhancements, integrations, BADIs, BRF+ workflows, WebDynpro, FPM, FIORI, and oData.

As an Application Engineer, you will design, build, and operate integrations and application programming interfaces (APIs) services in Google’s development environment along with applications and services from third-party vendors in Google. You will collaborate with users, business partners, software vendors, and other Engineering teams to increase the speed, reliability, and value of our systems.

Responsibilities

Develop, build, and deploy applications using various platforms and technologies tied to specific ERP systems.
Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes. Integrate third-party products into an ERP systems.
Maintain development practices including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution, writing clean, modular, and self-sustaining code.
Solve problems and work in complex, multi-vendor environments.
Architect innovative solutions to automate and scale business systems. Drive the technical and architecture strategy from concept to delivery.
