Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer - Reinsurance (Outwards/Ceded)]!

In this role, the candidate will be working on reinsurance portfolio related to specialty insurance and submit the Ceded Premium & Losses data files to actuarial as per Quarterly reserving timetable.

Responsibilities

To set-up the ORI contracts (Quota Share, Excess of Loss & FAC)
To submit the Ceded Premium & Losses data files to actuarial as per Quarterly reserving timetable
To Prepare & Post the Premium & Losses journals in the ORI Ledgers
To approve/object Premium & Losses entries in LORS
IBNR file submission within quarter close timetable
Quota Share Bordereaux submission to Market/Broker within the reporting days mentioned in the contracts/slips
To set-up the ORI contracts (Quota Share, Excess of Loss & FAC) with complete accuracy
To approve/object Premium & Losses entries in LORS
Large Gross Loss Settlement
Supporting the team with various credit control activities, including Statement of Account preparation, ledger reconciliation, and cash allocation

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

B.Com/BA Graduate with relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
High-level written and verbal communication skills.
