Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, DevOps Engineer!
We are seeking an outstanding DevOps Engineer with a passion for product development to join our technology team aligned. Here you’ll be part of a vibrant team that supports globally used applications and offers plenty of opportunities to grow your career.
Responsibilities
- Scanning of logs, write small scripts (Unix/shell) to automate the existing functionality, start and stop process/activities.
- Setup monitoring, tweak existing monitors.
- Raise/Record ticket & Alerts on Remedy/Jira.
- Support weekend activities like Release activity, Start/Stop server or restart any existing application etc.
- Eagle on server and predict/identify any issue in advance and raise an alert in-time to avoid any server issues or application downtime.
- Understanding of incident, change and problem management processes.
- Good knowledge of ControlM and Splunk(query) tools, should be able to setup monitoring, tweak existing monitors.
- Knowledge on Ticketing Tools Remedy/Jira
- Prior experience in handling production support system.
- Ready to work in rotational (6:30 am – 8:30PM) shifts & weekends.
- Good communication skill to interact with Global support teams.
- Tech stack required:
- Scripting: Unix/shell scripting compulsory
- Operating System: Linux, Windows.
- DB: Oracle, MySQL, Postgres
- Monitoring Tool: ControlM/Splunk/ Dynatrace Etc.
- Ticketing Tool: Confluence, JIRA, Remedy or a similar ticketing system
- Knowledge of Trade life cycle/settlement of trade is added advantage.
- Experience with JasperSoft, Pentaho, AWS is highly regarded.
