About this role

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design software solutions, and develop efficient and scalable Python applications.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code following coding standards and best practices.
• Developing and implementing robust back-end functionalities, including data processing, APIs, and integrations with external systems.
• Performing unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of the code.
• Conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and mentoring junior developers.
• Participating in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Collaborating with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and ensure smooth application delivery.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and applying them to enhance software development practices.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, investigating and fixing bugs, and improving application performance.
  
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Working professional experience as a Python Developer, with a focus on core python development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language, including knowledge of core Python concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask, and proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience in working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
• Experience in writing testable and maintainable code, and familiarity with unit testing frameworks like PyTest or Unittest.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
