In this role, you will be involved monitoring and troubleshooting data correction, script automation, data consolidation issues, and more. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of our data engineering processes and will lead our monitoring efforts to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. We are seeking a skilled Lead for our Data Engineering Project. The successful candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of SQL, ADF, Databrick, Data Engineering Platform (DEP), and Hyperion.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all monitoring activities for the data engineering project.
- Troubleshoot data correction, script automation, and data consolidation issues.
- Monitor the health and performance of ADF and Databrick platforms.
- Ensure the optimal operation of the Data Engineering Platform (DEP).
- Monitor and manage Hyperion systems.
- Develop and implement monitoring policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with technical team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Prepare and present monitoring reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in the continual improvement of the monitoring process
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Monitoring Lead or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, ADF, Databrick, and Hyperion.
- Experience in data correction, script automation, and data consolidation.
- Understanding of data engineering principles and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional certification in SQL, ADF, Databrick, or Hyperion.
- Experience in managing a Data Engineering Platform (DEP).
- Prior experience in a leadership role in a monitoring capacity.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data engineering solutions.
- Experience in a fast-paced, agile, and dynamic business environment.
