In this role, Seeking a highly motivated individual who possesses strong leadership, technical and analytical skills, with an understanding of the wholesale brokerage insurance industry preferred. The individual is expected to understand requirements, identify appropriate designs, code to the design specifications to ensure a quality solution delivery. Effective collaboration with the business users, IT, and various stakeholders is required. Serves as mentor, advisor and guide to the team of Developers and Sr Devs.
Responsibilities
- Requirement gathering and analysis of Business requirements.
- Work with client organization to understand technical requirements to implement IT Solutions
- Platform Rationalization & Modernization
- Response against RFP/ RFI related to Specialty Insurance Products
- Engage with stakeholders, updating them on IT development processes and costs.
- Deep hands-on experience with multiple development approaches, pattern and architecture means to implement solution. Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical problems.
- Work closely with business leads and product owners to understand solution requirements and identify architectural patterns.
- Evaluate existing tech stack and emerging technologies on a regular basis.
- Orchestrate work prioritization, scheduling and allocation for the rest of the Service Provider team.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- BE/ B Tech/ MCA
- AINS / CPCU certified
- Business Analysis Experience in Specialty Insurance Domain
- Strong Specialty Insurance domain & IT knowledge
- Requirement Elicitation & translate into technical IT solutions.
- Experience on any 2 products out of following Insurance Products -
- Insurity – ConceptOne
- Vertafore - AIM, IMS
- ImageRight, AIR, RMS, TRU, WKFC Appia, WKFC ePayment, Virtual MGA, Emergine
- Hands on Experience to Manage COTS Products
- Production Support of Insurance Apps under SLA/KPI ambit
- Strong coordination & liaising experience with Vendors, Business Owners, Infrastructure, Cloud team, etc.
- Aware about IT Tech stacks (Front End Languages, Databases, Cloud, API)
- Strong Experience in writing SQL queries
- Experience on JIRA/ Remedy tool
- Iterative / Agile / DevOps/ ITIL practices & tools
- Data Analysis & Data Migration experience
- Preparing Process Flows and Screen Mockups
- Execution of Transformation, Integration & Automation Programs/ Projects
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and Analytical reasoning ability.
