Job DescriptionThe Emerging Systems Lab/Telecom Systems Research (ESL/TSR) in Intel Labs is an innovative research group that works closely with Intel product groups, industry partners and consortiums as well as with the academic community to drive technology advancements and business impacts. The group research and prototypes advanced network workloads, e.g., 5G Private Networks, 5G telecom infrastructure, and system architecture to transition today's networking infrastructure onto high volume Intel Architecture (IA) based platforms through a combination of software-defined networking (SDN) and network-functions (NFs) operating in virtualized or containerized orchestrated Cloud Native environments on IA platform.We are looking for highly motivated software engineer and developer who will be contributing to the operational deployment and maintenance of a hybrid 5G network with components in private or public cloud, including github repositories maintenance, issues tracking and fixing as we asl develop new 5G network related features in scalable, high-performance, virtualized or containerized environments. In this role you will be required to deploy and operate network function in hybrid cloud, debug and fix deployment and network operation issues, debug software components issues when they arise. You'll collaborate closely with internal and external academic partners to maintain the 5G hybrid network operational.
Qualifications
Education/Experience � Bachelor with 3-5 years of experience Qualifications: � Deployment tools like Rancher/Fleet, Terraform, Kubernetes � CI/CD tool like github and its features e.g., gitub Action, etc. � Google Cloud Platform (VPN, Router, Load Balancer, Certificate Manager) � Proficient in C/C++, Python, Linux and knowledge of system software � Knowledge of 5G cellular network architecture a plus � Ability to analyze operational issues, track them down and work on resolution

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
