The Business Segment Sustainable Energy System (SE SES) develops, manufactures and sells innovative Hydrogen and Power-to-X systems, solutions and services based on the SILYZER portfolio. With this innovative electrochemical system, water is split into its components hydrogen H2 and oxygen O2 using the PEM (Proton Exchange membrane) and (green) electricity. By helping our customers in the industrial, energy and mobility sectors to decarbonize their processes we are taking a further step towards a sustainable future.

You can set the tone for this new business and contribute your enthusiasm and experience in a small, pragmatic team with global responsibility for hydrogen projects.

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

You support or lead the FEED project execution or the bid preparation with a temporarily assigned team of experts.
You identify and evaluate customer requirements and manage the development of the electrolyzes system configuration.
You coordinate all necessary interfaces to ensure that customer specifications are fulfilled, and for identifying technical deviations between standard and project scope to ensure quality of deliverables.
For FEEDs: you are responsible for budget, time schedule, quality and cost optimization of all engineering activities during FEED execution.
You are responsible for technical clarification with customer and the technical customer documentation, you provide support and guidance to the team for system & equipment design, development of data sheets, P&IDs and I&C specification.
For Bids: You support or lead the bid and negotiation phase within the determined boundaries in time, cost and quality.
You define the adequate business model and coordinate the way of collaboration with Regional Units and Business Units.
You support the winning strategy and optimize the overall project with a holistic view.
You establish offer documents, the integration of customer specifics therein and you coordinate the contribution of key roles supporting the offer.
You continuously challenge identified risks and opportunities with team members, from bid until handover to execution team.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial engineering resp. related engineering fields or similar
Overall, more than 15 years of experience is required.
You have experience as Project Manager in the implementation of large-scale system business in an international environment.
A multiyear experience in technical functions (Eng./R&D) or Product Management Experience is beneficial.
You have experience in managing multicultural teams and the management of team members as times superior.
You have passion for renewables related energy markets.
You have good decision-making skills and independent working capability, teamwork & collaboration capabilities including communication skills.
Your English language is fluent, further languages would be beneficial.
You are willing to travel.
