Responsibilities & Key Deliverables- Design stage inputs on welding to designers based on the application (Mechanical, electrical, and thermal)
- Welding type and welding configuration inputs and Study
- Defining the welding qualification procedure
- Welding process improvement and qualification as per the standards
- Welding feasibility study and decide the welding machine
- Establishing the DOE for welding trials
- Mechanical and metallurgical study of the welding and qualification of the welding.
- Design of the fixtures for Laser welding
- Knowledge on the materials and laser welding process
- Benchmarking of the Laser welding application
- Certified NDT level 2
- New materials study and welding trials
- Proving the proto builds using supplier or Inhouse facility
- Testing and Validation of the weld joints
- Lesson learnt PPT from the projects and Improvement actions on the projects.
- CNC Machine programming and Modification as per process requirements.
