Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Must have experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL Performance Tuning.
Must have experience in troubleshooting performance issues in Oracle Database along with PL/SQL query tuning.
Experience in implementation and troubleshooting for Oracle RAC database.
Experience in performing core database activities like Patching, troubleshooting and maintenance Oracle Application database migration to OCI
Oracle Database 11g/12c migration, administration
Oracle DBA should have experience on 19c,18c &12c upgrade, production support, cross platform migration.
Experience in any other database apart from Oracle like MS-SQL, PostgreSQL , Mongo
Good written/Verbal Communication, Presentation, Interactive skills with team across geography.
Preferably having worked on shell scripting with Linux Experience

Good to have

Knowledge on Engineered Systems including Oracle Exadata Cloud Machine.
Experience on any public cloud as administrator

Experience:

3-7 years of experience working on Database technologies.

Preferably having

Primary experience in Oracle Database admin and performance tuning
Must have experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL Performance Tuning.
Excellent experience in Oracle Database administration, installation and configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery methods in multiple computing environments (UNIX, Linux, Windows).
Certificated in Public Cloud – Oracle/AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Certified Architect Professional
Technical – Experience in Designing, Developing, Deploying and/or Migrating mission critical business applications to Cloud environments including re-platform of such systems
Expertise in architecting best technical solutions based on customer requirement
Experience giving presentations to executive audiences and explaining the benefits of the platform and service solution over competitors
Technical lead for engagements such as Proof of Concepts and Architectural Design Sessions to define and design a complete solution using best practices on any public Cloud
System administration experience (Linux, Solaris)

Competencies / Skills:

Possesses good communication skills to coordinate, resolve queries of both external and internal customers
Self-motivator and result oriented to complete task as per timelines
Must have good analytical and problem solving skills

Education:

BTech / MTech / MCA / MBA
