In this role Administrator who would help to monitor, test, troubleshoot and resolve windows server related queries/issues. Also to provide support for IT infrastructure services on all hosted windows operating system flavors from Windows server 2003 to Windows server 2022.
Responsibilities
- Installation & Configuration of Server OS
- Server Decommissions
- Install/remove/configure features on the server.
- Monitor server health.
- Troubleshoot CPU, Disk space, RDP, server connectivity issues etc.
- Server access management
- Apply security/hardware updates on the server.
- Vulnerability remediation
- Troubleshoot patching issues.
- Troubleshoot server connectivity issues from Vcenter, ILOs.
- Handling tickets – Incidents/Tasks/Change management requests
- Resolving tickets within SLAs
- Document key issues/root cause.
- Work with users across different locations on various issues.
- Windows OS – Win2003/Win 2008/Win2012 R2/Win2016/Win2019/Win2022
- Server Hardware – Dell/HP/Cisco UCS, VMware vSphere
- Deployment Tools – WSUS, SCCM
- Automation – PowerShell
- Ticketing Tools – ServiceNow
- Basic understanding of Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- B achelor’s degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Proven communication skills when working with other technical towers to work out issues.
- Must be well organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude.
- Must understand various logging methods and security event terminology.
- Strong leadership skills when troubleshooting across multiple vendor platforms and working out technical issues.
- Proven communication skills when working with other technical towers to work out issues.
- Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role.
- In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude.
- Good ITIL knowledge
- Flexible to work for 24x7 process.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills
- Ability to prepare Dashboards and Reports
- Experience of working independently & as a team player
- Should have a proactive work approach and ability to think out of the box.
