In this role, you will be responsible to demonstrate innovation and intuition in identifying areas where you can better/develop smarter VBA coding.
Responsibilities
The resource would be part of the marketing & strategy team and will be responsible for-
- Design and develop complex interactive reports on excel using VBA.
- Automate manual processes utilizing VBA.
- Develop existing and creating new applications/excel reporting system using VBA.
- Develop new features and enhancing existing ones according to specification
- Develop multiple applications in VBA, VBS, to support operation in Excel, Access and SharePoint.
- Improving non-functional aspects, like performance and security of the application
- Generate various reports & ad-hoc data analytics request and their maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers
- Responsible to demonstrate capacity for critical thinking and analysis.
- Responsible to showcase strong work ethics, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment
- Candidate should be comfortable with 5 days working and should be flexible w.r.t timings.
- Proficient in developing custom applications on Microsoft Excel, MS access and SharePoint using VBA.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (particularly advanced use of Excel and Access)
- Capable to manage full development life cycle i.e., analysis, design, implementation, and support of VBA based reporting system.
- Large Volume/Multiple Source - data conversion, data cleansing, report creation.
- Perform Data validation to ensure accuracy and quality of data.
- Ability to gather and understand requirements and collaborate with business process owners and management
- Good testing principles as well as good defect management skills.
- Working knowledge of MS SharePoint and its various features.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering / Masters in Engineering or equivalent
- Any graduate degree or equivalent or Master’s degree with a strong academic record
- Good experience in VBA coding.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and planning skills.
- Skilled in MS SharePoint, VBA, Tableau, OBIEE will be added advantage.
- Previous experience in Data Engineer role with expertise on VBA coding
- Previous experience in Advanced visualization
- Previous experience in a customer service role chat/email
- Should be able to work independently and capable to lead projects
- Effective probing skills and analyzing / understanding skills
- Problem solving skills with customer centric approach Demonstrated proficiency with written English and with neutral English accent
- Must be able to work on a flexible schedule (including weekend shift )
- Strong attention to detail.
