About this role
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience implementing financial solutions using SAP technologies, and designing solutions using SAP PI/PO and CPI.
- 5 years of experience programming in Java and JavaScript or ABAP.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP CPI, ABAP, Ariba, or SuccessFactors.
- Experience with On-premise and Cloud SAP implementations.
- Experience implementing and customizing vendor software or building custom financial applications.
- Experience in Groovy Script.
- Understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, development methodologies, and unit testing.

As an Application Engineer, you will contribute experience with on-premise and Cloud implementations of various SAP products.

Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes. Integrate third-party products into an enterprise resource planning system.
- Identify, assess, estimate, and solve complex business issues where analysis of situations/scenarios or data requires evaluation of variable factors.
- Develop, build, and deploy applications using various platforms and technologies tied to specific ERP systems. Work closely with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain high levels of development practices, including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution, writing clean, modular, and self-sustaining code.
- Architect innovative solutions to automate and scale business systems. Provide direction for architecture, design, build, and support activities required for SAP and other enterprise software platforms and drive for excellence, performance, and security.
