Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Scala programming language. Your typical day will involve working with Apache Hadoop and other related technologies to develop and maintain high-quality applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using Scala programming language. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Configure and customize applications to meet specific business needs and requirements. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the applications. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Scala programming language and related technologies to ensure the development of cutting-edge applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Scala programming language. - Experience with Apache Hadoop and related technologies. - Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
